Objective

The position oversees and is responsible the whole BRAND EDUCATION portfolio of House of Tequila on a Global scale: this means managing the complete Tequila Portfolio: AVION, ALTOS & OLMECA and the  Mezcal brand: DEL MAGUEY with the possibility tu support other partnership brands in the future. 

This role is also in charge of MANAGING the complete team of Global and Local ambassador spread through out the globe, this means managing indirectly 26 brand ambassadors in 20 markets, in charge of expanding the agave portfolio global footprint. This position will guide all brand ambassadors globally for them to implement global strategies, this means a direct impact in +20 markets including lead for Altos and DM like US, UK, AUSTRALIA and CANADA. Each ambassador send a complete report in order for this role to keep track of kpi´s and share data and best practices to the rest of the team. A global SUMMIT for all brand ambassadors is led by this role, happening in Mexico every 2 years as one of the most relevant and impactful events towards the ambassador community.

This position will lead the complete education strategy across all HOT portfolio, designing the brand promotion strategy and, together with the House of Tequila managers and directors, developing tools and assets that will play a fundamental role in the brand's plans, offering business solutions to brand ambassadors, bartenders, trade, KOL's and consumers. 

This position is responsible for turning TOP strategic keyholders into passionate brand advocates through innovative education, experiences, decks and platforms, and by building strong interpersonal relationships, internal and external, such as key bar owners, key bartenders, global ambassadors and icons of the industry.

Advocacy's strategy is based on 5 pillars: brand ambassadors, bartenders, drink strategy, hospitality programs at the distillery and brand spokespersons, and for this development it is key to include the following elements: education, brand experiences, digital networking and social responsibility.

The role requires high level of communication towards top management, key trade clients and industry icons as well as a recognized profile and high level of recognition , networking and credibility in the industry.

Advance knowledge and experience in agave spirits, mixology and general advocacy/trade is required.

Mains Tasks

Professional Experience

Professional degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or Administration or Hospitality management

• Experience in Marketing / trade marketing / Brand advocacy: minimum 4 years, experience in advocacy departments or teams as manager, Brand ambassador,

• Spirits advocacy experience preferred (1 year)

• Fluent English/Spanish

•  Advance knowledge and experience in agave spirits, mixology and general advocacy/trade is required
