Job Purpose and Impact

The Electromechanical Technician I, will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot basic program issues and assist with program modification on computer-controlled systems with frequent guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment.

Principal Accountabilities

May modify programming under general guidanceOccasionally participate in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machineryComplete basic troubleshooting of machinery and automation failuresProvide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessaryPerform periodic inspection and maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems, under direct guidanceOther duties as assignedVibration routes utilizing our Fluke equipmentMCC Thermal Camera RouteHydraulic System Oil SamplingResponsible for calibration of the various meters/camerasUpkeep of MCC Tools/PPEPlant IT duties
