We are seeking an Aerial Ground Hand to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA. In this role you will assist aerial lineman by preparing materials, tools, and equipment needed for overhead line work as well as act as a spotter for aerial linemen and equipment operators to ensure safety.

Assist aerial lineman by preparing materials, tools, and equipment needed for overhead line workAct as a spotter for aerial linemen and equipment operators to ensure safetyOperate and maintain ground-level equipment, such as bucket trucks, winches, and hoistsHandle, transport, and organize tools, cables, poles, and hardwareMaintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proceduresProvide support by pulling and feeding cables, attaching hardware, and securing work areasAssist with traffic control and safety flagging as neededPerform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, tools, and equipmentCommunicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operationsFollow all company safety guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuriesStrives to provide the best customer experience every dayOther duties as assigned Requirements 1-2 years of aerial fiber optic installation and/or telecommunication construction preferredBasic understanding of electrical or fiber optic work is a plusAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsStrong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirementsFamiliar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelinesAbility to safely climb poles with climbing equipmentAbility to travel daily, open to a variety of schedules, participate in on-call evenings and weekends as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesAbility to lift and carry 70lbs consistentlyAbility to complete tasks with small components and wiresAbility to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the timeAbility to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and toolsValid driver’s license; CDL requiredPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
