aero alliance condition based maintenance engineer
Job Description SummaryThe Aero Alliance Strategic CBM Engineer will drive the implementation of the Shop practices across the repair network, focusing on develop and write new ones, non-standard SoW which allow to reduce SoW and abate costs of maintenance . The daily tasks will include working closely with Operation Engineer and Channel parteners to facilitate generation and execution of the reduced Scope of work to maximize product cost out, improved turnaround time and other key outcomes for the Aero Alliance and its customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review/Evaluate existing Lean Scopes (IRD’s) for effectivity and obsolesceDevelop (in collaboration with Channel Partner) new IRD’s at Engine, Module and Component Level to optimize Work ScopesIn pre-induction phase, engineering team should identify critical SPL / IRD and fully understand client’s need through alignment with ChannelsNew SPL / IRD to be developed and implemented in line with Channels’ onesReview engine records from previous shop visits and assess impact of implementing  SB’s and other OEM DirectivesImplements Optimized Work Scopes Engine/Module Shop Visit with Cost and Delivery mindsetParticipates on Engine/Module Kick-off Meetings as technical POCA risk assessment of the reduced SoW should be conducted to ensure the likelihood of errors is minimized - the policy should be evaluated to confirm its adequacy in addressing potential risks

Key Skills:

In-depth knowledge on the engine, gained through experience on different engine typesIn-depth knowledge on the components, gained through experience on different components and framesDeep know how on various technologies present in the shops (e.g. LM2500, LM 6000,..)Specialized person on hot and cold sections
