**Job Title: Aerospace Assembler (1st Shift)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembler for the 1st shift. This role involves the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components using blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will be working on-site at a leading aerospace facility near Sky Harbor Airport, supporting various high-profile clients.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read blueprints and SOPs to assemble built components and parts.
+ Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque wrenches to assemble parts.
+ Complete electric bond checks.
+ Understand and follow Honeywell specifications.
+ Perform basic quality verification practices such as torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements.
+ Follow all health and safety guidelines.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
+ Experience working with large parts.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
+ Experience with commercial or military aircraft engines is a plus.
+ Understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in an aerospace manufacturing environment located on-site at Honeywell near Sky Harbor Airport. The facility follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. The work environment is team-oriented, fostering a close-knit community. Working hours for the 1st shift are 6AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday or 6AM - 3:30PM with a shorter shift on Friday, depending on the department.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
