If you’re passionate about manufacturing and eager to support the defense industry, this is the opportunity for you! **About the Role:** As an Assembler, you will be involved in routine production assembly operations, working on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems. Your work will directly support the creation of essential aerospace equipment and accessories that keep our missions strong and safe. This is a six-month consultant position with full-time hours. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, following engineering drawings and specifications. + Support continuous improvement by contributing to the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology. + Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly and high-quality standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify materials, suppliers, and equipment. + Participate in manufacturing processes and ensure that production requirements meet specifications and delivery schedules. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety. + Travel to other facilities as required to support assembly operations. **Qualifications:** **_Required:_** + 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. + 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools. + 1+ years of experience in the fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems. + 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes. + High School Diploma or GED. + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
