Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM’s

 

Visual inspection with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.

 

Job Description:

Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Duration:

3 to 6 months

Frequency:

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.

Skill Requirements:

At least 3 years’ experience using dimentional inspection equipmentHands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawingsFamiliarity with Quality and Manufacturing processesPrefer inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reportsBoeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggit, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.Must be UK Citizen Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
