Aerospace Material Planner

Valencia, CA

Join PPG Aerospace as a Material Planner in Valencia, where you'll play an important role in our team. You’ll ensure seamless coordination of materials and resources to meet production timelines and quality standards. You will work on-site at our facility in Valencia, CA and report directly to the Supply Chain and Inventory Management Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Create and issue Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Work-in-Process status reportsBuild, prioritizes, issues and closes production work ordersUpdate capacity planning and master schedule; determine production material required; verify quantities availableReview open order report information, verify accuracy or investigates and corrects discrepanciesCommunicate type of materials approaching critical re-order levels to purchasing function to assure material is available for production requirementsStores, maintains and safeguards inventory file printouts, bills-of-material and shop floor actionsAlign with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and proceduresPerform basic mathematical calculations including decimals, fractions, percentages, and metric conversions

Qualifications:

One (1) year of aerospace manufacturing experience or data entry experience in a manufacturing or supply chain related role requiredHigh school diploma equivalent (GED) requiredMust be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in EnglishMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary Range $55,000-$60,000 Depending on experience
