We have an exciting opportunity for a Aerospace Recruiter to join the team

The Aerospace Recruiter will\:

Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting Assist with the coordination of programs such as university recruiting and internships Process documentation in an accurate and timely manner using PeopleSoft, SharePoint, Jacobs Online Talent System (JOLTS), and other recruitment tracking systems Apply in-depth understanding and provide guidance on the application of various employment laws as they relate to recruitment to include Title VII, ADA, SCA, PDA, FLSA, and other Federal, State, and Local legislation/regulations to support the customer base of management and employees Participate as a key contributor in recruitment-related projects, and training Provide day-to-day human resources support and counsel in the areas of benefits, employee relations, employment documentation, policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations Respond to inquiries from employees and managers Perform other duties as required *

This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and normally possess 3 years of work experience Must have a good understanding of Employment Laws and can interpret and apply company policies Must have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of management Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Must possess strong, independent, as well as collaborative, problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction Must be willing to travel Must maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality

Requisition Preferences\:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Psychology PHR Certification Experience in Aerospace and/or Engineering Industry Ability to search the Internet (internal and external) for policies, procedures, and employment law Advanced Microsoft (MS) Excel skills and strong MS Office skills Strong PeopleSoft experience with emphasis on running reports and searching for data.

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Other Essential Functions

Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
