The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. Want to learn more? Click here. As an Aesthetician, you would be responsible for providing expert skin care treatments, and skin care knowledge appropriate for each guest. Perform facials, hand treatments, and provide personalized skin care prescription.. Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Perform expert skin care treatment and depilatory waxing, and aromatherapy. All treatments are to be performed to specific guidelines for stress relief, relaxation and cleansing. Provide knowledge to the guest for continued skin care utilizing products sold in our retail area. Utilize product efficiently, maintain product inventory and room cleanliness. Attend meetings as required This is a part-time postiion for the evening shift, and you must have availability to work Friday and Saturday evenings along with additional weekday evenings to include holidays. Shifts are between the hours of 2pm-7pm. Qualifications A minimum of two (2) years experience in performing skin care treatments for the face neck, shoulders, décolleté, hand and foot treatments. Experience in aesthetics sales. Experience in a luxury resort or club, preferred. Contiuing education / training in skin care, required Further training from recognized aesthetic companies, preferred Current and valid Arizona Cosmetology License or Arizona Aesthetics License, required CPR and First Aid Certified, preferred Dermaplane Certification, preferred Proficient in performing skin care treatments for hand, foot, neck shoulders and décolleté. Proficient in advising client on personal skin care. Knowledge of cosmetics and aromatherapy. Ability to work independently and as a team. Excellent customer service skills. Professional appearance.
