We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Global Technology Team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of software releases, capacity planning, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with programme managers, business stakeholders, and software development teams to ensure timely and efficient software deliveries.
The Role
Software Delivery Coordination: Lead and manage software releases, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and priorities. Capacity Planning: Work with teams to understand capacity constraints and proactively manage resourcing requirements. Agile Delivery & Process Management: Manage and optimise the delivery board in Azure DevOps, track velocity, and drive continuous improvement. Impediment Resolution: Identify and resolve blockers that hinder development team progress. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, programme managers, and development teams to align expectations and deliverables. Delivery Timeline Management: Use empirical data from past deliveries to project accurate timelines and manage stakeholder expectations. Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and report on team velocity, risks, and delivery status to senior management. Product Roadmap Management: Define, manage, and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and development team capabilities.The Requirements
Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Project Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.Strong experience in Azure DevOps, including managing backlogs, delivery boards, and velocity tracking.Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading Agile ceremonies.Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and best practices in release management.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate conflicting priorities, and drive alignment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to removing blockers.Strong analytical skills with experience in using empirical data to forecast delivery timelines.Experience working with global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Equal Opportunity Employer
