The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for AFT & MID Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to support the 787 Program based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:
Cultivates a culture of excellence (effective communication, teaming process, high quality connections, diversity & inclusion, trust & respect, collaboration, clear roles, adaptability, conflict management, accountability etc.) within multiple 787 manufacturing business units.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers, and proactively leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, factory support and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Mentors and coach’s leaders and teammates across the site in the art of winning together and personal/professional development.
Driving and leading talent investment being a sponsor, mentor, and supporting succession planning as well as driving the agenda around diversity and equity.
Ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Boeing South Caroline (BSC) site.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years’ experience in and/or supporting aerospace manufacturing
3+ years of experience in a formal management/leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives, collaborating cross functionally and influencing positive change
Ability to lead via influence and work across functions & organizations.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years’ experience in lean processes and initiatives
Forward thinker that can identify key risks and develop a plan to address
3+ years of proven strategic leadership teammate engagement
