Job Summary
Responsible for service repairs on a daily basis, deployment to customer site as required and train service distributors on Winches and Hoist products.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and document findings in an effective and efficient manner. Prepare quotes and service kits for potential service projects. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics. Ensure that engineering testing specifications are followed at load test of the repaired products Periodically interact with customers in a professional manner via email, field visits and phone conversations. Travel and Perform field service work or training at customer sites worldwide Completes all required reports and assignments accurately and on time. Work on factory production line and engineering as needed to assemble and test new products, product improvements or quality issues. Effectively interact with internal personnel from other departments and maintain clean and safe work environment.
Basic Qualifications
Language (French and English) skills: read and comprehend documents. Mathematical skills. Strong mechanical background and / or experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly. At least 3 years working on winches and hoists, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric Familiar with shop tools such as drills, press, grinders, etc. Be certified to work onshore and offshore. Be able to multi-tasks. Willing to shift priorities as needed. Ability to work with little supervision. Strong customer focus via verbal and / or written communication skills. Excellent customer relations skills.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Frequent travel including weekends and holidays
