Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As part of the after-sales service team, the intern, under the supervision of the Service Manager, will participate in technical support, maintenance, and improvement activities for spectroscopy equipment. Their tasks will include:•\tAssist after-sales service engineers in diagnosing and repairing spectroscopy analyzers.•\tParticipate in functional tests and calibration of instruments after intervention.•\tHelp identify and resolve common malfunctions.•\tSupport the sale of products and services by promoting business development.•\tAssist customers by phone and email as part of technical support activities.•\tParticipate in optimizing maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.•\tPropose improvements to diagnostic methods and intervention tracking.•\tHelp manage the stock of spare parts and consumables, and ensure follow-up of equipment returns for repair.

Qualifications for the role

Student in physical engineering, instrumentation, industrial maintenance, optics, or a related field.Knowledge of spectroscopy and analytical instrumentation.Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and maintenance of scientific instruments.Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Microsoft Office suite.Excellent knowledge of English and French (written and spoken). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
