The F135 Business Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing project, proposal, and resource management for the F135 Aftermarket, serving as a Control Account Manager. This position is essential to the success of the Collins F135 Aftermarket Program Management Team, contributing to the continued support of the world’s most advanced fighter engine. As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, the F135 Business Manager will collaborate across functions to ensure the global fleet remains ready and operational, supporting critical mission success worldwide.

What You Will Do

Serve as Control Account Manager/project management focal for all F135 Aftermarket projectsLead generation of monthly and long-term sales plansLead monthly Aftermarket program staffing reviewsManage Aftermarket program Risk and Opportunity registerAssess and formulate potential solutions to support basis of estimates for US Government proposals and support customer fact finds and contract negotiations.Ensure accurate and on-time completion of internal and customer business cadence deliverables.Support customer facing project management reviews and audits.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in EVMS and project management.Experience in gathering and analyzing data to make informed business decisions.Experience performing work under US Government contracts.Experience collaborating cross-functionally and with multiple levels of management.Experience applying problem-solving and initiative to continuous improvement principles.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
