At Carrier Transicold we are currently looking for a motivated Aftermarket Engineer to join the Europe Truck/Trailer Engineering Team. In this role, the Engineer is leading the key Aftermarket projects, providing support ref.the design & development engineering in order to execute Aftermarket development projects & drive growth. Key Responsibilities: + Lead projects using Engineering Qualification Process and the internal Quality Review Board (QRB) Process + Project management as needed throughout the design cycle such as developement of Project Schedules incl. Qualification Testing Timelines, QRB Deliverables & cross-functional deliverables + Play a part in the Voice of Customer (VOC) process to understand key customer needs concerning Aftermarket solutions /occasional travel to Customer or Dealer sites + Effective communication of engineering issues to ensure compliance with global standards for the design & safety of products & services & engineering best practices + Engineering Lead responsible for project execution, working in a cross-functional environment + Apply knowledge of DFMEA or other robust engineering tools, tolerance analysis, simulation & statistical methods to improve the robustness / quality of Aftermarket projects + Assist with Engineering Qualification, drawing updates & overall implementation of tasks on Aftermarket Projects + Utilize Carrier Excellence (Carrier’s operating system) as a guide to streamline project deliverables + Work closely with business personnel to obtain information/data needed for project execution + Prepare & present Project Updates to Engineering Team / Cross-Functional Groups + Conduct Technical Reviews with key experts + Perform Data Analysis, Drawing/Model Review & Cost Analysis Basic Qualifications: + BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering fields or equivalent experience + A few years of work experience Preferred Qualifications: + MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering + 3+ years of design of components and assemblies for manufacturing + Basic HVACR experience and knowledge of refrigeration principles and systems (preferred, not mandatory) **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
