Aftermarket Operation Officer -Engine Health Monitoring Change

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aftermarket Operations Officer – Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) Change to join our team in Derby.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing rapid response to emerging in-service issues. By developing and implementing new analytics or reconfiguring existing live techniques and data streams we provide ongoing in-service containment at an asset or fleet level.
You will primarily focus on the Civil Aerospace Engines and Business Aviation markets but might also deliver services for Defence, Energy or Marine depending on the future business need.

Our Service Delivery Engineers play a key role in Service Operations by providing high quality engineering insight in support of diagnosing and managing emerging asset issues in the Civil Airlines fleet. This is an opportunity to join the back office delivery team to work on maintaining our EHM capability and responsiveness.

In this interesting role you will:
Rapidly design, configure and deploy Engine Health Management solutions to support containment of in-service issues across the Rolls-Royce fleet of assets.Capture requirements for Engine Health Management improvements through internal and external Customer Change Boards, Project Zero and any other relevant forum.Work with related teams to share and evolve best practices for design and configuration of Engine Health Management change.Work with customers to enhance the value of Engine Health Management services and identify future opportunities.Who we’re looking for:

Strong IT user with good configuration skills (including applications such as SQL and PowerBI. Azure Platform, Python and MATLAB skill preferred but not necessary)A passion for technology with a view to improving what we do and utilising in the production environment to deliver value to the Customer and Business.Good numeracy, able to work under pressure, capable of working to tight short-term deadlines, self-motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience in a data focused role, EHM service, Engine Performance, service engineering or product support preferred but not necessary.Engineering or IT based degree with relevant experience would be advantageous.
