What you’ll be doing

As the Agency Associate you will be accountable for providing specialized agency services as an independent intermediary between borrowers and lenders participating in syndicated credit facilities arranged by Wholesale or Retail Markets. This role applies solid knowledge of lending products and accepted syndication and loan administration practices in the following regions; Canadian Commercial Banking, Canadian Large Corporate, US Large Corporate or European Large Corporate.  You will manage all aspects of administration and monitoring of established credit facilities which includes the input, verification and escalation of any risk elements associated with the portfolio.  As a member of the Credit Processing Team, this ole participates in process improvement and quality initiatives to enhance the quality of client service and increase operational efficiency.

How you'll succeed

Maintain current knowledge of the credit agreement so as to accurately and effectively administer the contractual arrangements while mitigating execution risk inherent in the duties of the Administration Agent.Facilitate closings of new/amended credit facilities to include sign-off on deal structure, setup and population of ledgers, SyndTrak, review flow of funds memorandum with responsibility for mitigating execution risk, co-ordinate Initial advance in accordance with established procedures.Collect revenues on behalf of the Agent and syndicate and distribute them accordingly.  On an annual basis, review and recommend/negotiate Agency Fee.Negotiate - Collect revenues on behalf of the Agent and syndicate and distribute them accordingly.  On an annual basis, review and recommend/negotiate Agency Fee.Ensure compliance – For both internal controls and proceduresMaintain correct data – Establish and maintain current expert knowledge of the credit agreement to administer the contractual arrangements while mitigating execution risks inherent accurately and effectively in the duties of the Administration Agent.
