Agency Business Analyst

GEICO is looking for an experienced analyst professional to support our Agency organization. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to help our company meet its objectives and goals by identifying opportunities and driving change. The role will engage in large complex initiatives to ensure the business architecture governance is addressed in all organizational changes. This position will be responsible for understanding how work is conducted (processes, procedures, and systems) and, through analysis, determining opportunities and developing solutions.

Essential Functions:
1. COORDINATES with intra- and cross-departmental teams to define metrics, guidelines, and strategies for effective use of quantitative and qualitative information for company projects.
2. WRITES and DEFINES requirements.
3. COMPLETES user validation testing.
4. CONDUCTS value analysis and IDENTIFIES opportunities to improve procedures.
5. ENGAGES with key business partners to ensure requirements align with customer needs.
6. COMPLETES user validation and testing of systems and process changes to sign off on delivery readiness and confirm deliverables meet requirements.
7. INTERPRETS technical systems documentation, filings, guidelines and/or other resources to identify root cause and scope.
8. RECOMMENDS and IMPLEMENTS training, process changes, and modifications to business rules, implementation of new technology, or a combination of all four for company projects.
9. LEADS decision-making forums by presenting and defending recommendations to all levels of the organization in clear business language.
10. ANALYZES standardization, automation, execution, usability, quality, and training when determining solutions and root causes.
11. DEVELOPS project plans and LEADS project teams including mentoring and training other analysts on key functions.
12. ADHERES to the Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.
13. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Agency and Vendor Integration preferred
• 3 years of experience in an analytical role leading project coordination with key business functions and department leaders
• Proven ability to drive collaboration and partnership across multi-function project teams
• Ability to influence business partners and provide recommendations to drive decision-making and execution
• Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
• Ability to work quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) with the ability to understand and communicate difficult concepts
• A highly motivated team-player


 

Annual Salary

$82,000.00 - $157,850.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
