Position: Agency Staffing Coordinator
Department: Human Resources – Recruitment Team

Overview:
We are seeking an Agency Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic Recruitment Team within the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing temporary staffing needs through coordination with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Experience:

Minimum: At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused business environment

Preferred: Experience in recruiting, credentialing, and/or onboarding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Registered Nurses (RNs)

Skills and Competencies:

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Professional and courteous interpersonal skills

Strong time management and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Effective team player with a commitment to role modeling teamwork and collaboration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred: Experience working with a Management Service Provider (MSP) or a similar contract management company

Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements is a plus

Position Summary:
The Agency Staffing Coordinator, in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, will serve as the primary liaison between the organization and the MSP to fulfill temporary staffing needs. This position oversees Finger Lakes Health Internal Agency as well.  Responsibilities include:

Coordinating staffing requests from department managers and directors

Requesting and reviewing candidates submitted by the MSP

Ensuring candidates meet required qualifications and match the job descriptions

Tracking position control reports

Communicating promptly with managers, directors, and the MSP regarding candidate confirmations

Scheduling interviews and ensuring alignment with departmental needs

Verifying that temporary staff possess all required credentials and meet health and physical requirements as outlined by The Health System

Screeining internal candidates and coordinating phone interviews with hiring managagers Approving Finger Lakes Health Internal Agency time cards Managing internal agency inernal agency questions,  and dealing with internal agencey employee relations  Offering, onboarding, and terming internal agency staff  

Salary Based on Experience $21-$24
