Sotheby’s International Realty is searching for an Agent Relationship Specialist who is responsible for the onboarding and marketing training of agents who’ve recently joined select Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage offices. This is a remote role supporting agents across the United States in offices including New York City, Los Angeles, Cape Cod and Palm Beach. This role reports into the Field Marketing and Enablement team. 

 

Responsibilities

Lead the onboarding of new agents to Sotheby’s International Realty by creating an introduction process and educating them on the full suite of marketing technologies. Ensure agent’s smooth transition to the brokerage by facilitating key tasks including migrating previous business records and setting up their new profile (headshot, business cards, etc.). Create onboarding marketing toolkit and curriculum for agents, as well as best practices for educating and providing reinforcement as needed for new agents.  Liaise with Marketing Directors across all offices to share new agent profiles and preferences as part of a warm handover to ensure strong relationship management and agent success. Play role of subject matter expert across the Field Marketing and Enablement organization on marketing systems, tools and procedures to ensure seamless onboarding of agents and keep local Marketers up to date on the latest enhancements. Stay up to speed on all Sotheby’s International Realty marketing trends and brand guidelines to ensure a consistently up-to-date curriculum for new agents.  Coordinate with local office administrators to plan and optimize agent onboarding in alignment with local Managers’ recruiting efforts and timelines.  Partner with the Learning Team to optimize marketing curriculum for early-tenure agents.

 

Qualifications

4-6 years' experience working with clients in training or relationship management roles; experience in the real estate industry strongly preferred.  Customer-first mindset, as well as an ability to work with diverse and geographically dispersed teams, clients, students and partners.  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail and deadlines. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficient in Microsoft CoPilot; knowledge of real estate databases and apps such as RealScout, and experience and proficiency with project-management tools such as Asana. Experience working directly with customers and clients.  Ability to effectively present information and communicate in one-on-one and group settings. Patience; and a passion for teaching, coaching and training; and ability to work independently. 4-year degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.  Proven experience in developing and scaling comprehensive onboarding programs, conducting orientation sessions, and creating training materials and manuals.
