Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

To safely operate and change over a re-pelletizer and compounder to produce resin pellets while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Act as a support to other team members during roll changes and changeovers. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area, and adhere to all food safety, policies, and procedures.

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

M-F 2nd shift (2-10pm)

M-F 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

COMPENSATION

$23.92/hour

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities

Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facility

Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors/Management of Quality concerns/issues

Assure that all jobs are run according to manufacturing specs, customer specs, and SOC

Responsible for accurately scanning in unprocessed material and outputting labels for completed reprocessed material

Manage inventory of unprocessed and reprocessed materials

Complete re-pelletizer and compounder operator maintenance tasks such as filter, blade, and pack changes

Prepare all materials needed for current and upcoming orders

Manage film conveyance to ensure the machine is running at full capacity

Maintain FSSC and IMS requirements for food safety and cleanliness

Operate a forklift and motorized pallet jack to move product in and out of the department

Actively support the training of others to progress them towards being a re-pelletizing operator
