What you do:
The Aggregator Channel Director will be primarily responsible for driving results within the Employer Markets Aggregator Sales channel with the identified business development market. The candidate will work closely with sales management and key business partners to generate new sales leads, identify top prospects, provide complete mappings of aggregator decision making theatres, provide detailed business development strategies to understand and navigate the steps necessary for Allianz Lifetime Income plus adoption within each Aggregator complex. The candidate will need to be highly motivated, committed to continuous learning, have strong critical-thinking skills, have excellent negotiating, relationship building and management skill sets (both hard and soft) and possess a drive to overcome adversity. They will need to identify and use relevant information when making decisions, approach problems from different perspectives, and comfortably handle uncertainty.
Business Development: Work directly with identified business development prospects. Proficient in advanced sales concepts, competition offerings, product (LI+), and investment strategies present in the Defined Contribution ecosystem. Will be tasked with activating prospects and driving additional sales to expand our base of producers and grow distribution sales. Sales activity will be primarily conducted by phone, email, virtual and in-person meetings. Some travel and face-to-face sales meetings will be required.
Strategic Business Planning and Execution: Work closely with AZL LI+ Sales Management/Team Members as well as Internal/External Business partners to develop and execute an overall strategy to build, grow, and protect Allianz's relationships within the identified business development market in order to achieve our sales targets.
What you bring:
- 8 -10 years of experience required; Defined Contribution ERISA Advisory sales experience in financial services. Poven sales ability and results.
- Four-year degree required; Marketing, Finance, Business or related or equivalent work experience.
- FINRA Series 6 & 63 (including SIE Exam) and MN Life license required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Ability to attend evening business functions. Flexibility to work during the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm CST based on client needs. Comfortable with talking on the phone as their primary activity. Job may require periods of stooping, bending, sitting or standing. Occasional domestic travel required as dictated by business need.
Base Salary Range $157,000 - $175,000
In addition to base salary, a portion of your total compensation is based on commissions. Actual commission earned is driven by assigned territory and individual sales performance.
