Seeking an Agile Champion & Change Agent
Are you passionate about enabling a high-performance culture and continuously improving the delivery of business value? Join our team in driving organizational agility and optimizing portfolio management. We are seeking a hands-on Agile Coach to guide our enterprise through effective agile practices and quarterly PI planning while ensuring strategic alignment to corporate objectives. This role combines a deep understanding of SAFe principles, Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards configuration, and training expertise to drive collaboration, transparency, and efficiency at the Portfolio, ART, and Team levels.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates the adoption of transformational change by designing, teaching, and coaching an Agile/DevOps mindsetServes as thought leader for best practices, methods, tools, and measures of success / assessment criteriaGuides teams in best practices for ADO Boards: Initiative/Epic/Feature roadmaps, sprint planning, user stories, intake process templates, and managing cross-team dependenciesFacilitates Quarterly PI planning, inspect and adapt workshops, and other key ART events to ensure alignment and coordinated deliveryProvides strategic guidance for developing and improving program and portfolio prioritization, value stream delivery, and progress/outcome measurement through ADO and Power BI dashboardsOversees project management governance for our organization, providing guidance to ensure alignment with agile values and organizational standardsPartner with PMO teams to continuously improve tooling, reporting, and governance frameworksCoaches technology, business, product, and operations partners to identify and address impediments to team productivity and effectivenessCreates and conducts training and workshops to advance Agile maturity in the organization, with a particular focus on maturing the Product Owner roleContributes to communities of practice and collaborates with departmental Agile champions to mature organizational agilityRequired Skills/Qualification
Minimum 5-7 years in Agile Software Delivery, with at least 3+ years as an Agile Coach and/or RTE at a medium- to large-sized organizationProficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards is required; Knowledge of Clarity PPM, ServiceNow Knowledge Bases, Confluence will be considered an advantageExperience facilitating quarterly planning sessions with senior leaders and guiding portfolio management activitiesAdaptable problem solver who can quickly design and implement solutions as an agent of changeHigh energy and collaborative team player who leverages all communication tools effectivelyFamiliar with Investment / Asset Management and/or Financial ServicesSalary Range:
$114,700 - 194,900 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
