We are looking for a dedicated Agile Coach like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Agile Coach is a key driver of organizational agility by empowering teams, fostering continuous improvement, and championing agile principles. This role is instrumental in mentoring and developing Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members while ensuring consistent adoption of agile practices across pods. Operating at the manager or director level, the Agile Coach integrates agile methodologies with organizational objectives, driving both cultural and operational transformation. This position includes budgetary and hiring responsibilities as appropriate to the level. DT&I’s mission is to bring innovative technology solutions to the clinical, operational, and administrative frontline of HCA, reshaping the processes of healthcare to improve outcomes for patients, empower clinicians with insights, and drive greater efficiency for all. In this role the VP will be responsible for innovating our IRC processes, making them more intelligent, impactful, and efficient. In so doing will help our operators and leaders provide the best care possible, improve our financial and operational outcomes, and help colleagues and have a better experience in their work. **Agile Transformation and Coaching** + Lead the agile journey for assigned pods and associated leaders, coaching individuals and teams to develop a deep understanding of agile principles and practices + Serve as a trusted mentor to Scrum Masters and Product Owners, fostering self-sufficient teams capable of driving iterative value delivery + Actively facilitate agile ceremonies as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and removing barriers to progress + Educate product owners and scrum masters so that they can guide pods in agile processes independently and consistently (across pods/domains) + Conduct regular 1:1s and team check-ins to promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement **Continuous Improvement and Metrics** + Drive consistency in agile practices across pods, establishing and reinforcing frameworks for ceremonies, processes, and tools + Monitor team performance and usage of agile tools, working collaboratively with Scrum Masters to ensure optimal adoption and utilization **Cross Functional Collaboration** + Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align team efforts with organizational priorities and drive shared vision + Evangelize core agile principles throughout the organization, building a culture of innovation, empowerment, and value-driven operations + Ensure high engagement and alignment across teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement + Act as a visible and proactive champion for organizational transformation, creating lasting impact through agile practices **Education & Experience:** + Bachelor's degree Business or related field - Required + Advanced degree and/or professional certifications - Preferred + 7+ years of experience in role as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a fast-moving tech environment, preferably within healthcare - Required + Deep knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt experience to new and evolving environments - Preferred + Experience with large-scale software delivery in complex environments - Preferred + Expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and iterative product design - Preferred + Exceptional coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success working across diverse teams - Preferred **Licenses, Certifications, & Training:** + Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) - Preferred **Work Location/Schedule:** + Nashville, TN area (near Centennial Park) + In Office M-F **Travel:** + The job may require up to 25% travel "Good people beget good people."- Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr. HCA Healthcare Co-Founder We are a family 270,000 dedicated professionals!
