Job Summary:
As an Agile Coach/Consultant, you will help our newly formed product group integrate Agile methodologies into our workflow and overcome the real-world challenges we are facing as we adopt Agile. You will provide tailored recommendations and guide teams through decision-making processes where traditional Agile frameworks may not fully apply, ensuring the seamless integration of Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Integration: Lead Agile transformation efforts by assessing current processes, identifying challenges, and tailoring Agile practices to fit the organization's unique needs, focusing on real-world application.Coaching & Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to product teams, helping them adopt Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and tools while addressing any roadblocks.Customized Solutions: Recommend non-traditional Agile approaches when needed and guide teams through decision-making where flexibility is required.Training & Workshops: Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate teams on Agile concepts and best practices, tailoring them to suit the company's evolving Agile journey.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with product owners, managers, and executives to ensure alignment between Agile practices and business objectives, ensuring buy-in and support.Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and performance by optimizing processes, practices, and tools.Metrics & Reporting: Monitor Agile performance and provide data-driven insights to guide improvements and decision-making.Change Management: Support the organization in managing change by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and helping teams adapt to Agile methodologies.Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Consultant, or Scrum Master, with a strong track record of leading Agile transformations in diverse environments.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC)) preferred.Skills:Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies with the ability to adapt them to real-world situations.Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills to guide teams through complex Agile journeys.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to analyze and tailor Agile methodologies to address specific challenges within the organization.Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps) and the software development lifecycle.Must Haves:
