MAU is hiring an Agile Coach for our client in Alabama. As an Agile Coach, you will lead the Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) organization in adopting product management and Agile best practices to drive transformation. This is a contract, short-term assignment.
Pay Pay of $70 - $75 per hour based on experience Shift Information Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a remote opportunity. Required Education and Experience B.A., B.S./M.S. or B.E./B.Tech. in a relevant field (Advanced degree preferred) 12+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 10 years in Information Technology 7-10 years of experience in Agile Software Delivery, working with Agile Teams, Scrum Teams, Kanban teams, Agile Release Trains, and Product Teams Experience in digital transformation-focused organizations 4+ years of experience in: Full product life cycle management of a digital product (not just coaching but playing the role of a Product Manager) Developing and deploying global methodologies Driving execution via performance measurement and benchmarking 4+ years of Agile Coaching experience at team, product/program/release train, and executive levels 2+ years of Product Owner/Scrum Master experience Must-have certifications: SPC (SAFe Practice Consultant) and CSM/PSM or CSPO/PSPO Proficiency with Agile Life Cycle Management Tools (Azure DevOps) Experience coaching globally dispersed Agile teams Strong facilitation skills for workshops (OKR workshops, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Steering Committees, etc.) Hands-on experience training and coaching teams in Agile and product management best practices Preferred Education and Experience Experience with transitioning from a project-centric to a product-centric organization 2+ years of Product Management experience IT application services delivery experience Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications Experience in DevOps and Platform development Nice-to-have certifications: ICP-ACC, Certified Digital Product Manager Experience with product management tools such as Craft, Aha!, Jira Align, Jira Portfolio, Rally General Requirements Strong virtual meeting facilitation, communication, training, negotiation, and presentation skills Experience designing and implementing Agile scaling frameworks Strong leadership and partner management skills Ethical and data-driven decision-making abilities Essential Functions Lead the Agile Center of Enablement to drive Agile transformation across the organization Scale Agile practices beyond individual teams or departments using appropriate models Collaborate with leadership to design organizational structures using team topologies and Product/Platform Taxonomy Conduct OKR (Objectives and Key Results) workshops with business stakeholders and Agile teams to define the organization's north star and strategic objectives Provide hands-on coaching to Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams on Agile best practices, ensuring alignment with business and IT Facilitate Agile Release Train and Program-level events, such as PI Planning, Steerco, System Demo, and Scrum of Scrums Assess Agile maturity of teams and tailor coaching accordingly Develop Agile training materials and process guidelines Deliver hands-on training in classroom and virtual settings using collaboration tools (Miro, Mural, etc.) Support migration from a project-centric to a product-centric organization Establish Agile communities of practice to drive shared learning and collaboration Work closely with leaders to structure product teams, define staffing needs, and coach team roles Guide product managers in defining product vision, product strategy, and product roadmaps and fostering collaboration between business and IT Track and measure KPIs, delivery efficiency, blockers, and team performance to drive continuous improvement Coach teams on how to measure outcomes and value realization, ensuring alignment with business
