You Are:
In the Agile Project Manager role, you’ll ensure your teams or program delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile and Project management methodology to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team or teams. The Agile Project Manager will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team’s goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team or Program.
The opportunity:
· Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business goals. Create a well define project plan and manage the plan effectively.
· Sprint Management: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that teams are meeting sprint goals and maintaining a sustainable pace.
· Agile Leadership: Act as a leader for Agile teams, removing obstacles, facilitating discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
· Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage expectations, provide status updates, and ensure project goals are clearly communicated and understood.
· Risk Management: Identify, document, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely mitigation or escalation.
· Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and self-organization within teams, promoting continuous improvement and learning.
· Performance Tracking: Track project progress using Agile tools (Jira, etc.), ensuring visibility on velocity, burndown charts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Change Management: Help manage changes to the project scope, timeline, and resources, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and efficient re-prioritization of tasks.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint reports. Provide regular project status reports to leadership.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality control processes are in place, including automated testing, code reviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
· Mentorship: Guide and mentor Agile teams on best practices, coaching them towards continuous improvement.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management with at least 2 years in an Agile environment.
· Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certifications preferred.
· Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
o Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
o Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
o Ability to influence without authority and handle challenging conversations with tact.
o Understanding of software development life cycles and continuous delivery practices.
o Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices is a plus.
· Preferred Skills
· Experience in industries such as logistics real estate will be an advantage.
· Familiarity with scaling Agile practices (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
· Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
Benefits
Employees receive mandatory and non-mandatory benefits such as fourteen (14) days of vacation beginning on the date of hire, vacation premium, ten (10) paid holidays, a Christmas Bonus of thirty (30) days’ pay, Monthly Food Vouchers, Saving Fund, and health insurance.
