Job Title: Agile Scrum Master/ Project Manager

Location: Stafford , VA

Education: Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

 

Responsibilities:

Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetingsRadiates information between squad and stakeholders to ensure alignment Assists team or individuals to clarify goals and actions to achieve themServes as a coach in Agile practicesTracks and removes impedimentsEnsures the correct use of scrum processesShields team from outside distractions and interferences

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience as a SCRUM Master in ITStrong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices is a plusFamiliarity with IT infrastructure, systems development, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processesKnowledge of other agile methodologies and frameworks like Kanban and XPProficiency in estimation and planningEffective communicator with the ability to maintain a cohesive teamUnderstand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentStrong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practicesBasic knowledge of software development processes and proceduresKnowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated TestingAbility to take and understand commitments to deliver projects on timeKnowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.Experience using Jira or similar tool for managing Sprints and User Stories.Familiar with common development practices, Service oriented environments, and Agile practicesDemonstrates proficiency in conflict resolution

 

Certifications:

· Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

· Certified SAFe6 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)

· Certified SAFe6 Scrum Master (SSM)

· Certified SAFe6 Product Owner Product Manager (POPM)
