Agility Lead
DESCRIPTION: Duties: Transform business requirements to allow automation of business tools utilized by multiple internal and external Business Partners. Provide data tools and analysis to expedite workflows, automate processes, and improve the precision of manual processes. Monitor and measure the processes post-implementation. Apply knowledge of architecture, design and business processes. Conduct performance metrics and reporting, develop technical problem resolution, and perform risk management. Design and familiarize strategies and roadmaps to upgrade the program management software utilized to refresh and deploy new hardware and software across company branches in the United States. Automate multiple manual processes, focusing on head count, team's productivity and cohesion, and cost savings. Design and implement agile continuous delivery and fully automated release processes for multiple applications. Deliver key projects such as chat bot automation. Analyze and conduct experiments to improve agility across company Workplace Technology Services organization. This position requires up to 20% domestic travel and up to 20% international travel. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Agility Lead, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Java Developer, I.T. Analyst, or related occupation. Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Facilitating Agile ceremonies; Coaching and facilitating agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP; using Microsoft PowerPoint to develop and coach Agile-related process flows, conduct workshops, and build materials to present to leadership; Excel; Java development and Software Development Life Cycle as it relates to coaching and engaging with agility delivery teams; test-driven development (TTD), behavior-driven development (BDD), or chaos engineering software development practices; Utilizing JIRA to manage product and sprint backlogs, sprint start-stop, JIRA team performance reports, sprint planning, delivery, and daily stand up boards; translating quantitative information into actionable insights that can be leveraged by analytic and non-analytic staff; software development team performance measurements.
