Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 5:00 AM-5:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $26.91 an hour

You will provide general service, routine overhaul and emergency maintenance on all BEF plant and farm facilities and equipment. Yo will have a DOT certification. You will report directly to the Farm Shop Manager Darin Milbrett.

This is a full-time unionized position, located in Waseca, Minnesota.

You Will:Be able to lift 50lbs, and frequently bend, lift, twist, turn, climb, squat, craw, and reach.Have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a health card (DOT).Have basic hand tools to repair and maintain equipment.Must have tools to, repair, and maintain plant or field equipment, both eclectically and mechanically.Enjoy working in a team environment and have initiative in improving company operations, food safety and Plant Safety.Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities assigned by the Farm Shop Manager.You Have:2+ years of experience with equipment in an Agriculture department.5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment.2 Year diesel technician certification, with expertise in the following areas:Electrical systems (including 12V DC circuits), pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and proficient skills in welding and cutting.
