Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter to cover agricultural commodities trading, with a focus on grains in Europe and the Black Sea region. 
It's a beat with opportunities for both scoops and big, impactful features, as the market continues to adjust to the fallout from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which sent food prices soaring and put the sector increasingly in the global spotlight. Climate change and policy shifts are also making production more volatile, heightening the need for real-time information.
We're looking for a reporter with strong news judgment, a track record of breaking news and a willingness to work with colleagues across bureaus to strengthen our global coverage.

WE WILL TRUST YOU TO: - Build a network of sources along the supply chain from food to fork and the futures market, with an emphasis on the traders that keep crops flowing
- Break news that moves markets and keeps on top of what's next for supply and demand
- Write in a variety of formats, from day-to-day market coverage to long-form enterprise
- Pitch ambitious stories that span Bloomberg's platforms, from print to video and graphics
- Fluency in Russian would be a plus
