The Opportunity:

The job holder is the business controller for AGS APAC and act as a business partner to all AGS APAC stakeholders and regional management regarding finance related issues to deliver the overall strategy of AGS APAC Business Line.

Responsibilities:

a) Manage AGS APAC financials

b) Management reporting

c) Financial report with variances analysis & build corrective action plan

d) Financial forecast, predictability & risks and opportunities management

e) Assist regional BLs management in drivers to change/improve the future results

Finance Management

To monitor AGS APAC financial results delivery and budget executionTo assist AGS BLs for the different activities in countries (AGS Singapore, China, India and hosting BLs like IFE in Singapore)To lead and manage forecast cycles (MYB, Business Review)To ensure and control timely best in class reporting to the Group, GBU or BLsDrive P&Ls of AGS APAC BLs including Risks & Opportunities management with business stakeholdersTo monitor WCR/OCR/OCF and promotes cash culture with strong focus on inventories and accounts receivables past dues. Manage and report accurately through GBU Anaplan OCF toolContinuous improvement of monthly closing processes (timing, data integrity, eliminate redundant tasks

Budgetary Control:

To control expenses through best in class budgetary control (e.g. CBN variances analysis) and reporting (process and tools such as Anaplan)To validate CAPEX/OPEX according to applicable DOAConduct regular Balance Sheet / Cost Centers / Gross Margin & programs review

Bids & Projects:

Support regional bids activity (GATE 0 to 3) in line with MRBOA and/or applicable BLs delegation.Provide financial guidance for all AGS regional initiatives/projects and related investment

Team Leader:

Upskill the team competencies through leadership and sharing knowledge.

As AGS business controller should able to lead any financial topic related to financial matters in APAC in coordination with Head of AVS Business control Manager, country finance, AGS VP, AGS operations director, therefore the list is not exhaustive herein.
 

Requirement:

MBA or master degree in Finance or Business.8+ years of accounting/business control/FP&A experience.Prior experience in financial and management reportingPrior experience in industrial/manufacturing control and standard costingPrior experience managing budgets, conducting in-depth financial analysis and submitting recommendations for management decision makingPrior experience in handling complex bids & projects and associated business planPrior experience in ERP management systems (SAP preferred)Prior experience with principles of revenue and cost recognition and deferralKnowledge of finance, cost control, budgeting, and accounting principles including GAAP & IFRSKnowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systemsAbility to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projectionsFinancial Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Clarity, Cognos, Primavera, BPC) experience preferredKnowledge in Power BI, Power Query, Excel dashboard.Familiarity with MRO or aftermarket service models is a strong advantage.Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframesAbility to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to work independently with minimal direction and to assume a lead role within specific areas of responsibilityExcellent judgment, planning and organizational skills
