This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join our AGV team as an AGV Service Team Supervisor.  This role is based in our Notting Hill office in Victoria and reports to the AGV Service Manager.  You will be responsible for overseeing the AGV Service daily operations of the Southern Region Service team (VIC, SA, TAS, WA) and will be required to travel regularly to visit customer sites.

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE IS

Manage Service Engineers and Field Service Technicians

Coordinate the team’s work schedules and assign work to ensure that contracted response times are met

Coordinate incidents and breakdowns to ensure escalations are prioritised

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers

Manage modernisation projects in service as required

Provide leadership, advice, coaching and support to the AGV Service team

Travelling to customer sites to provide hands on service and support for breakdowns, servicing, modifications and spare part sales

Assisting the Service Manager with working within budgets and towards targets as well as reporting

ABOUT YOU

Engineering qualification or equivalent industrial engineering or maintenance experience, preferably with Robotics

Several years experience working in a Customer Service environment

Previous management/supervisory experience/Project management experience

Strong communication, planning and leadership skills, including the ability to liaise with all levels of staff

Understanding OH&S requirements

Understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines

Availability and willingness to travel to customer sites predominantly in VIC and SA but also throughout the greater APAC region when required

Minimum 3-5 years as supervisor or project manager
