Our client is looking for prior experience as a material handler, previous duties of operating a pallet jack, and quality characteristics. **Job title** : Material Handler (Pallet Jack)
**Job Summary** The candidate will work as a Material Handler in a warehouse environment, primarily using a pallet jack to move materials and products throughout the facility. They will be responsible for ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and materials are efficiently transported to various departments, while adhering to safety guidelines. Even Simpler: The job involves moving things around in a warehouse using a special cart called a pallet jack and making sure everything is where it should be.\
**Skill Requirements**
_Must-Have:_
+ Experience operating a **pallet jack**
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Basic math skills for **inventory control**
+ Ability to work well in a team environment
_Preferred:_
+ Previous experience in **material handling** or **warehouse operations**
**Skill Education**
+ **Material Handling** : Refers to the process of moving, protecting, storing, and controlling materials throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, consumption, and disposal.
+ **Pallet Jack** : A tool used in warehouses for lifting and moving pallets. It is operated manually or powered by electricity.
+ **Inventory Control** : The practice of overseeing and managing orders, storage of inventory, and controlling the amount of product for sale.
+ **Warehouse Operations** : Refers to all activities involved in running a warehouse efficiently including receiving goods, storing them properly, picking them as orders arrive, packing them securely for shipping, and ensuring they leave the warehouse on time.
**Pay Details:** $16.50 to $18.50 per hour
