The Animal Health IT Commercial Value Team is committed to strategize and implement digital solutions and services to increase customer engagement, optimize customer experience and create opportunities for measurable commercial outcomes with incremental revenues informed by rich, data driven insights.
In collaboration with the Animal Health IT Commercial Value Team Lead, the Commercial Applications Program Manager will be responsible to coordinate and oversee the governance and program/project management activities within the Commercial area of our organization, specifically supporting the implementation of our Commercial OneCustomer ecosystem vision, including critical projects such as OneCRM, OneWeb Harmonization, IBMS replacement alignment, Call Center applications deployments, other project and their integration within the Commercial applications and data ecosystem, ensuring their successful delivery on time and within scope and budget.
This position will have senior business relationships with regional and global Executives stakeholders as well as indirect managerial responsibilities for staff and shared reporting relationships as well as participating as an active member of the Animal Health IT Commercial Value Team leadership team contributing to shape the future direction of the AH Commercial IT organization, people strategy, technology and value realization.
Key responsibilities include:
Program Governance: support Commercial leadership in Governance model design and implementation to guarantee frequent engagement and facilitating decision making process.
Program Management: Delivers overall program leadership, guidance, and management of all aspects, drives and provides oversight for the implementation of multiple commercial projects simultaneously while ensuring effective alignment with organizational strategies and the program’s goals.
Project Planning and Execution: Determines, monitors, and reviews project/program scope, costs, schedule, resources, interdependencies, risks and oversee their successful execution. Schedules and facilitates project meetings, implementing and tracking performance measures to ensure project is progressing compared to original plan/budget
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues to ensure project success. Facilitates business decision-making processes, captures and disseminates technical and business information.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. Implements consistent and reliable risk management processes and reporting to key stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and collaboration; works closely with technical SME’s, such as Information Architecture and Software Engineering to drive execution.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred
Minimum Experience:
15+ years of relevant IT experience
Skills/Knowledge:
Mature and energetic customer focused Program Manager with proven experience in program and project management, particularly in the implementation of Commercial platforms and systems and strong relationship management capabilities.
Ability to manage and coordinate projects and services across the entire spectrum of Sales & Marketing and Commercial boundaries and to build effective cross-functional teams collaboration.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and who places great emphasis on collective achievements of shared objectives.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and a track record of successful project delivery.
Awareness of change management methodology at scale
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and their application in the Commercial context
