Is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist

AdventHealth Partin Settlement is looking to add a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to our psychiatry program. This psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients across the full spectrum of mental health conditions in an outpatient setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The MD or DO, is responsible for:

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.

Providing psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and primary care physicians.

Engaging in patient education and offering support to help individuals manage their mental health effectively.

Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.

Strong communication skills.

Strong medical decision-making skills.

Schedule Details: Monday – Friday

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Medical Degree

Psychiatry experience (preferred)

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION:

Current, valid Florida Medical license

Board Certification

BLS & ACLS

DEA License
