Job Summary
The TNAP AMP Manager oversees facility operations, ensuring efficient planning, design, construction, and maintenance of assigned facilities. This role manages customer inquiries and requests related to operations, including office services, food services, janitorial, landscaping, and repair activities. The manager ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and industry best practices to optimize facility performance and workplace services. With broad responsibilities, the TNAP AMP Manager supervises specialized functions, coordinates team assignments, and mentors junior team members. The position demands expertise in facilities management and the ability to perform complex assignments with a focus on achieving defined outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and resolve customer inquiries related to facility operations, including maintenance, repair, and service requests.
Oversee facility-related functions such as office space allocation, furniture installation, and moves.
Ensure the delivery of office services such as mail operations, forms management, reprographics, and supply inventory.
Coordinate construction and design projects, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Supervise janitorial, landscaping, and food service activities to maintain facility standards and efficiency.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for facilities management.
Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations within assigned responsibilities.
Provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to team members, allocating work and offering support as needed.
Conduct regular reviews of operational accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established guidelines.
Ensure alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards in all facility operations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or facility maintenance.
Completion of AFIT WMGT 131, WMGT 301, and WMGT 417 courses.
8+ years of combined experience in facilities management or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience in managing complex facility operations and supervising specialized functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with automated facility management systems and tools.
Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
