Position Summary: As an AI Data Scientist, you will work with a cross-functional team to design and implement machine learning and AI solutions that drive automation, optimization, and decision-making. You will build and enhance models using advanced algorithms, leverage large datasets, and improve operational workflows across the organization. Your role will focus on researching and developing AI systems that have a real impact on business processes and deliver results. Essential Duties: + As part of the AI Team, you will be doing Research to AI model development including data procuring and analysis, prototyping, testing, and deployment + Strategizing in tight collaboration with leadership. Working closely with product designers to apply AI/ML to create features, collaborate with data engineers for data acquisition from Enphase Digital Platform Products, collaborate with infrastructure engineers to deploy and model pipelines + Writing production-level, re-usable, easy-to-interpret code in Python(required), or other languages, while engaging in collaborative code reviews, and providing technical feedback to improve existing ML model performance + Establish a scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis, model development, model validation, and model implementation Minimum Qualifications: + B.Tech/MTech in Computer Science or Electrical /Electronics Engineering from top tier college and >70% marks + PhD or Research work experience in AI / ML streams will be an added advantage + 8+ years of solid experience in developing and deploying AI/ML-based applications. + Solid understanding of linear algebra, algorithms, machine learning, optimization, numerical methods + Experience with regression, classification, recommendations, anomaly detection, deep learning algorithms + Excellent Python coding, strong engineering practices, debugging/profiling skills, familiarity with multi-threaded programming + Experience with data science tools including Python scripting, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, jupyter notebooks, bash scripting, Linux environment + Knowledge and experience in neural network computation optimization, such as distributed training, and network quantization + Leverage data and rigorous analytical methods to drive strategic energy-related data and ML systems + Experience with at least one mainstream deep learning framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe(2), MXNet + Experience with implementing production-ready data science platforms and systems + Exposure or knowledge of Renewable Tech companies + Familiarity with Web Front End (JavaScript/React/Angular) and Mobile App Development. + Familiar with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Experience with IoT-based systems preferred + Demonstrable proficiency in writing clean and concise code in Python + Ability to understand business concerns and formulate them as technical problems that can be solved using data and math/stats/ML. Preferred Qualifications: + Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. + Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning. + Familiarity with the solar industry or renewable energy sectors is a plus. + A portfolio of published research papers, open-source contributions, or advanced AI projects.
