For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Marvell CE AMS IP group (Central Engineering Analog Mixed Signal IP) is a team within Marvell that specializes in the design and development of various types of analog and mixed-signal intellectual property (IP). The team has experience designing IPs for a wide range of IC design technologies, from 40nm to 2nm. The team focuses on designing IPs for:

- COMPHY SerDes (Common PHY, including Long Reach SerDes, Die-to-Die connection SerDes, D2D PHY, Short Reach PHY, XSRPHY)
- DDR PHY
- Analog IPs (e.g., SSPLL, reference clock generators, voltage detectors, temperature sensors)

What You Can Expect

In this on-site role based in Santa Clara, you will collaborate with a team of 8 software engineers to:

Develop and implement innovative AI Large Language Model (LLM) use cases for IP design workflows.Enhance and optimize the AskAMS RAG-based semantic search platform, improving its accuracy and efficiency.Create and refine AI-assisted tools for automatic generation of: a. RTL (Register-Transfer Level) code b. Design Verification (DV) test scripts c. Firmware (FW) code d. Analog design filesCraft and fine-tune prompts to maximize LLM model performance and output quality across various applications.Integrate advanced image processing capabilities into existing and new applications, enhancing visual data analysis and interpretation in the IP design process.Continuously evaluate and implement cutting-edge AI technologies to streamline and improve the overall IP design flow.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where AI can provide the most significant impact in the design process.Develop metrics and conduct regular performance assessments of AI-assisted tools and workflows.Contribute to the creation of documentation and training materials for AI-powered tools and processes.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and their applications in semiconductor design, and propose new ideas for implementation.
