Job Description

The Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) supports the newly established AI Governance Committee within the Global People team. This is a pivotal role to ensuring the organization's adherence to regulation and internal policies, managing risk, and maintaining a robust AI for HR governance framework. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting the assessment and mitigation of risk in AI for HR use cases, monitoring compliance with applicable AI laws and regulations, and assisting in the development of strategies to enhance AI for HR governance practices 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, enable, and ensure execution of AI risk assessments and evaluation of incoming HR vendor products and internal custom AI development in partnership with Enterprise GRC teamsProvides guidance and support to the Digital Technology team and internal AI governance teams to ensure AI for HR GRC requirements are represented in ServiceNow’s AI compliance and AI inventory toolsPartner with technology, research, and GRC teams to expand, monitor, and maintain the Global People team’s methodologies and technical capabilities for detecting, mitigating, and eliminating bias within AI modelsReview governance, risk, and compliance policies and procedures and partner with relevant teams to update/supplement for HR AI use caseSupport the governance, risk, compliance, and legal teams in the drafting, maintaining, and updating AI use policies and procedural documentsSupport the Global People product tech development lifecycle through evaluating AI use cases, guiding the risk assessment and mitigation processes, and supporting audit activitiesAdminister internal reviews, Prepare AI governance, risk, and compliance reports, and advise on risk mitigation measuresPlans, manages, and organizes AI GRC activities for the Global People teamSupports the development and maintenance of broader governance, risk, and compliance functions within the Global People teamSupport internal audit processes conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followedPartner with and support enablement and compliance functions through the creation of workshop and training materials to ensure employees are knowledgeable on the organization’s AI policies, regulations, and processesStay up to date on ever changing AI regulatory landscape and ensure Global People AI strategy maintains alignment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

10+ years working in a risk or compliance role focused on HR technologySolid understanding of current AI technology landscape and capabilitiesCCEP, NIST, or ERM certificationsExperience building up a governance, risk, or compliance program is preferredRisk Management: actively identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate themRegulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of both AI and HR regulatory landscape internationallyCollaboration: Designs and drives governance strategy in partnership with key leadersEthical Decision Making: Analyzes situations and make decisions aligned with the company's and external ethical code and expectations in the AI spaceInvestigative Skills: Conducting thorough investigations into risk and compliance issues, gathering evidence, and documenting findingsAttention to detail: Carefully reviewing documentation and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulationsLeadership and influence: Promoting a culture of ethical conduct by setting a positive example and encouraging ethical behavior within the organization.
