As a Director of AI/ML for Digital in Digital & Design Domain Services, you will lead the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions that align with our business objectives in Digital and Payments. You will help the Payments Digital team build both new standalone products as well as capabilities and tools that can be integrated across the portfolio. You will use a mix of product management, data science and advanced analytics, and people management skills across the development of new AI-powered solutions. In addition, you will play a key role in defining and crafting and executing an AI strategy that aligns with our broader Payments business strategy and driving thought leadership on the topic across the organization.

 

Job responsibilities

Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targetsLeads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growthCoaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectivesOwns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectivesMonitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiationIdentify and implement opportunities to build AI-solutions that power client-facing digital experiences in Payments and BankingPartner closely with technology and data science teams to execute on the development of capabilitiesLead managers of data science teams and ensure delivery and implementation of solutions across a portfolio of productsTrack performance metrics of solutions including revenue and/or cost savings as well as ROIManage risk and ensure compliance within a highly-regulated financial services contextHire, manage, develop and retain talent by creating an environment of open communication and fair performance assessment, promotion, and compensation and high standards for professional conduct

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applicationsExtensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analyticsProven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementExperience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functionsTrack record of developing and implementing AI solutions with real-world applicationsHands-on experience in AI techniques such as natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, and large language modelsLanguage and technology proficiency in SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, and RStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesDirect people leadership experience required; experience managing both individual contributors and managersExperience working in a highly-regulated industry with changing Legal, Risk, Controls, and Compliance environment
