This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world software projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain valuable industry experience. As an intern, you will assist in exploring and applying basic machine learning techniques to real-world business challenges, including the deployment of Generative AI technologies. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the cutting-edge field of machine learning and artificial intelligence, contributing to the integration of Generative AI technologies in practical applications. You will also have the opportunity to participate in team meetings, brainstorming and review sessions, gaining insights into the collaborative nature of fast pace work environment. The internship is designed to provide a platform for learning, experimentation, and contribution to ongoing projects under the guidance of experienced Engineers. By the end of the internship, you will have a deeper understanding of software engineering principles, practical experience in developing software applications, and a portfolio of projects that showcase your skills. **Responsibilities** : + Participate in the development and implementation of basic machine learning models under supervision. + Support data exploration and preprocessing activities. + Collaborate with team members to identify & resolve technical issues, and to integrate machine learning models and Generative AI technologies into business applications. + Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of deployed ML models. + Document and present findings and progress in regular team meetings. + Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications. + Write clean, scalable, efficient, and well-documented code. + Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides. + Learn and apply new technologies and programming languages as needed. + Support the deployment and maintenance of software solutions. + Work on assigned tasks and projects within specified deadlines. + Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance. + Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. **Qualifications** : + 0 - 1 year of experience in the field of Software Engineering and/or Telecommunications. + Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. + Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting in June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process. + Basic knowledge of software development principles and methodologies. + Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data science and AI/ML. + Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. + Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java. + Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra or specialized vector database. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. + Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Must have excellent soft-skills and be able to work in fast paced environment. + Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
