AI Product Manager

**What’s the role?**
The AI Product Manager plays a vital role in shaping and executing News Corp Australia's AI product vision. This role is instrumental in developing and managing cutting-edge, AI-powered products and features across our digital platforms. Reporting to the General Manager, AI & Personalisation, the AI Product Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, and Editorial, to deliver innovative and user-centric AI solutions.
+ **AI Product Strategy & Roadmap:** Define and maintain the product roadmap for AI initiatives, aligned with News Corp Australia's overall business objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance user experience, drive engagement, and improve business outcomes.
+ **Product Development & Execution:** Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for AI-powered products, from ideation and design to development, launch, and iteration. Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
+ **User Research & Analysis:** Conduct thorough user research to understand user needs and pain points. Analyse user behaviour and preferences to identify opportunities for AI-driven personalisation and product improvements.
+ **Stakeholder Management:** Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, editorial, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
+ **Performance Monitoring & Optimisation:** Continuously monitor and analyse product performance, using data-driven insights to optimise AI models, algorithms, and user experiences. Identify areas for improvement and implement iterative enhancements.
**Who are you?**
+ Strong understanding of AI, machine learning principles, and applications.
+ Proven experience in product management, with a focus on AI-powered products.
+ Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
+ Analytical, data-driven decision-making mindset with experience in agile development.
+ 7+ years in product management, including at least 2 years in AI or machine learning products.
+ Track record of successfully launching and managing AI-powered products.
