The opportunity

 

EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is a consulting unit that provides risk management support to banks, insurers and asset managers. Our team includes individuals who have industry, client and product knowledge as well as quantitative, regulatory, project management and technology professionals. We are seeking a staff with machine learning & AI experience to join our team in the Montreal or Toronto. Along with our team, you'll work together to coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory and business performance services to a variety of clients, including commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations

 

Your key responsibilities

 

The FSRM Staff – AI Risk will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of financial risk services to consulting client accounts. The role will provide specialized services in advanced analytics for risk management.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and artificial intelligence experience, ideally including Generative AI Self-motivated, comfortable with uncertainty, and willing to learn Possess strong English (and ideally French) communication, presentation, and technical writing skills to describe ideas, concepts, and issues that involve interpretation, analysis, and assessment of complex conceptual topics Consulting experience and risk experience is a plus


This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role

 

To qualify for the role you must have

Quantitative graduate-level university degree required, Ph.D. preferred 3-5 years of experience in advanced analytics Strong programming languages including Python


Ideally you’ll also have

Consulting or risk experience Ability to read, write and speak in French
