What is the opportunity?

Capital Markets Data AI and Research Technology (DART) team is looking to hire a seasoned “hands on” AI Scientist to lead our AI efforts in Quant and Tech Services. The role will be responsible for applying Generative AI techniques to build solutions for Capital markets use cases.

What will you do?

Build end to end AI & ML solutions

Build agents (RAG and Otherwise) leveraging enterprise data which help capital markets Research, Banking, Sales and Trading

Manage AI Ops and pipelines for Generative AI needs

Function as the lead developer and prim contributor on AI projects

Expected to code 90% of the time

Opportunity to lead a team of high performing AI scientists if desirable

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

PhD or master’s degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience building Deep Learning or Machine Learning models; in depth knowledge of Machine Learning, deep learning and Generative AI.

Ability to function as the primary contributor building Generative AI solutions alongside the team while guiding the rest of the team on best practices, code reviews etc.

In depth knowledge of Machine Learning, NLP, Information extraction etc.

Knowledge of Embeddings, Re-rankers, agentic frameworks etc; knowledge of Inferencing, fine-tuning, model architectures etc.

In depth knowledge and experience building front to back AI Operations; in depth knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures; knowledge of distributed computing

Nice To Have:

Experience implementing GenAI systems into production

Experience with model evals and model monitoring

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $210,000 - $310,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
