As a Software Engineer Intern at Lenovo’s Global Security Lab, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting edge projects that are shaping the future of security. You'll work alongside a global team of development engineers and security professionals to develop and maintain GenAI solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

A/B testing.Work with a team of engineers to develop, deploy and maintain GenAI applications.Learn and apply programming languages like Python and Java to build efficient and scalable software solutions.Learn about CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) and best secure code practices.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning technology space.

Basic Qualifications: 

Master’s (graduate or in process) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.Solid foundations in programming concepts.Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with Python, PyTorch, Deepspeed, FSDP.Experience with Linux, bash, and Git.Strong understanding of handling API requests, integrating frontend components with backend services, and optimizing performance for real-time interactions with a locally hosted Large Language Model (LLM) backend.Previous research or internship experience or project work in AI/LLM/ML/NLP/DL.Experience with vllm, Llama.cpp, or similar libraries for LLM inference and serving.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as function as an integral part of a team, take initiative and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
