What You'll Do We’re looking for a visionary AI Solutions Engineering Leader to spearhead our AI-focused team within our dynamic Worldwide Cloud + AI Infrastructure Solutions Engineering organization. This role will drive innovation and inspire excellence as we define the technical sales strategy for delivering Cisco’s cutting-edge AI solutions. Establish key performance indicators for all direct reports that are geared towards AI growth through enablement, innovation, thought leadership for executing the technical AI sales strategy. Oversee the team as they develop and scale globally the next generation of go-to-market demos, solution-focused collateral, messaging, and technical sales engagement motions showcasing comprehensive AI solutions, including architectures, operational models, frameworks, and tools that cover the entire AI lifecycle. The team will accelerate the adoption of our AI solutions across key industries by developing a strategic framework to identify high-potential customers, analyze their unique business challenges, and provide tailored AI solutions that enhance their business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and experience relaying technical concepts to a diverse audience. The Worldwide Cloud + AI Specialist team delivers one scalable strategy which enables with local, geography-based execution for Data Center customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine bringing together market transitions, and empowering sellers to fuel growth for customers and Cisco. You will build awareness, fostering education and driving energy for AI with both internal and external team members, partners, etc. In addition, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping, creating, and championing AI solutions while tackling complex challenges head-on. You will travel as needed to meet with the product business unit, customers, partners, and attend industry events. Minimum Experience: * 5+ years of leadership experience managing a high-performance pre-sales engineering team * 5+ years of technical presales experience, preferably selling Compute, Storage, and/or DC Networking solutions * Proven track record of selling to Line-of-Business and/or AI Practitioners * Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and their practical applications in business * Demonstrated expertise matching industry-specific AI use-cases highlighting their strategic relevance across various sectors * Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions * Proven experience in creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to C-level executives * Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, engineering, product management, channel and solution partners, Customer Experience, etc.) to drive AI initiatives * Experience in developing technical GTM strategies and enablement programs for AI solutions * Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and strategy based on customer feedback and market trends Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in Data Science is a plus. * AI experience working with NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, and/or other AI vendors * Understanding of AI models, including but not limited to GPT (GPT-4, ChatGPT), Gemini, LaMDA, LLaMA, or similar - Hands-on experience in design, development, and deployment of AI models and algorithms is a plus * Familiarity with AI-relevant data center infrastructure and networking technologies such as: IB, RoCE, accelerated computing, GPU, DPU, etc. * Experience training and fine-tuning LLMs using popular frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers * Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML offerings (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) * Track record of thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or patents in the AI/ML field * Experience in building and maintaining relationships with AI ecosystem partners (e.g., ISVs, OEMs) * Experience in defining and implementing AI solution best practices * Strong understanding of cross-architecture integration, particularly in relation to Security, Splunk, and Observability solutions * Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker or equivalent experience) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) for scalable and efficient model deployment We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
