Professionals in test engineering are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing processes and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of products and systems within organizations. They utilize their expertise in testing techniques, tools, and automation to identify defects, verify functionality, and validate performance across various stages of product development and deployment. Typical responsibilities include defining test objectives and requirements, designing test plans and test cases, and executing tests to verify product functionality, usability, and performance against specifications and requirements. Test engineering roles also involve developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts, conducting regression testing, and analyzing test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Additionally, professionals may collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers, to ensure that testing activities are aligned with development goals and timelines. Their expertise in areas such as software testing methodologies, test automation tools, and continuous integration and deployment enables organizations to deliver high-quality products and systems that meet customer expectations and business requirements.
You are responsible for leading individual projects, people, or technical/functional solutions. As an employee, you: Work on advanced problems or assignments of large scope, impact, and importance, applying broad and deep knowledge of professional specialty and business dynamics. Work on assignments in multiple business or technical areas; apply advanced concepts and understanding of policies, procedures, and techniques. Build and maintain effective relationships for customer service and project support; demonstrate initiative and proactively identify and communicate needs. Influence at the team or department level; participate in policy and procedure development. Receive general supervision, apply seasoned judgment autonomously.
The T&E Lead shall act as the lead for overseeing the evaluation of each AI products, ensuring requirements are testable and measurable, developing metrics and evaluation criteria, developing the test program, developing the test tools and test standards, conducting performance evaluations and writing reports documenting product strengths and weaknesses, writing and delivering Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Test Plans, and Test Reports, and ensuring best practices and lessons learned are sufficiently captured to be shared across the Department. The T&E Lead shall direct the efforts of all product line teams including Contractors at multiple locations and shall serve as the primary interface and POC for all T&E-related matters. The T&E Lead shall ensure that any T&E capabilities incorporated into or developed under the CO do not conflict with the program baseline. The T&E Lead shall also ensure that the most advanced vendors are engaged in the process ensuring that the program has reach across industry to engage the best solutions. With the AI Engineering Lead, the T&E Lead shall help manage the public-facing aspect of the technologies contemplated under the CO to ensure that there are no ethical issues related to the CO.
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelors degree (engineering preferred)and 10+ years of relevant work experience, with 4+ years of DoD specific experience
+ Possess a minimum of a TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
+ Possess a minimum of five years’ experience with systems integration and test management.
+ Possess a minimum of five years’ experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile software development practices.
+ Proven understanding of optimization/search algorithms, unsupervised learning algorithms, supervised learning, Neural Networks (NNs), and other regression and classification methodologies.
+ Possess a minimum of five years’ experience engaging multiple stakeholders from industry to rapidly advance software development.
+ Leads and/or writes production-level, re-usable, interpretable code in Python, C++, SQL, or other languages using Test Driven Development to create T&E pipelines, test harnesses, data curation, and visualization code.
+ Proven understanding of optimization/search algorithms, unsupervised learning algorithms, supervised learning, Neural Networks (NNs), and other regression and classification methodologies.
+ Advanced professional experience in engineering/computer theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods related to data engineering.
+ Proven experience in solving unique data problems related to the development of AI products and tools.
**Desired Qualifications**
A master’s degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Operations Research).
Minimum of five years’ advanced experience highlighting proficiency in meaningful programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Scala, C++).
Five years’ experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a capacity related to the T&E Lead role.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
**Posted Salary Range**
USD $129,700.00 - USD $202,675.00 /Yr.
