Primary Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot and train others in the use of a gas chromatograph and chromatography software.Test, troubleshoot, disassemble and reassemble customized purge and trap systems.Fill in support for Lab Manger including use of multiple autosamplers, computer interfacing, chromatography interpretation and data reporting.Train others on topics of safety, equipment usage and operational excellence.Training of new employees.Extensive knowledge in the application of Linde Technology.Safety accountability, including program execution, training, and measuring.Compliance with reliability, quality assurance, environmental, and governmental programs.Develop detailed technical knowledge of specialty equipment.Build, modify, test, troubleshoot or repairing of equipment.Exercise a significant amount of judgment and independent action.Under minimal supervision, works on tasks that are complex in nature.Work with contractors, consultants and owners on-site.Apply testing procedures using tracers and analytical equipment.Accurate interpretation of data is essential.Electronically document and communicate all activities.Maintain professional, orderly and clean work site.Maintain current and thorough knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and Safety policies.Working Conditions:
This position requires extensive troubleshooting, office and field work, lifting to 50lbs, climbing, bending, and/or after-hours (on-call) work. The nature of this job requires ability to travel extensively as needed.
